A Valentine for Him

I finished this card just in the nick of time.  Valentine's Day does not lend itself to masculine cards, but I wanted to make a special card for my hubby.
I created the card using a Ranger Giant #12 Craft Tag and dragged it through Fired Brick Red and Black Soot Distress Ink mixed with a mist or two of water.  I stamped the Tim Holtz Top Hat from the High Society Blueprints Set with Jet Black Archival ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I added a couple of stamped tickets along with #14 game piece.  Finally, I added the sentiment "you are tops" in Tim's ChitChat-type style.

I would like to enter my card in Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Red + Pink.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day...unfortunately the stomach bug cancelled my festivities but the jello my husband made me was better than all the chocolate in the world.  Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. So sorry to hear you were poorly on Valentines Day but how precious that your hubby could make you jello - he's a keeper! Love the masculine take on a Valentines card here too. I bet he was thrilled with it. Hope you're much better now. Jenny x
