CC3C #9 Stamps and Framelits

Hard to believe that we are on Challenge #9.  I re-purposed a journal we had around the house and claimed it for my very own.  I used the technique described in Tim Holtz's  A Compendium of Curiosities, Volume III on page 63.  The Challenge is hosted by non other than the lovely and talented Linda Ledbetter and generously sponsored this week by Inspiration Emporium.

    Your journal cover is clever I love the details. how did you do the texture ? great piece

      Thanks Chary...I used Tim Holtz's Burlap stencil with texture paste and then inked it with Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I am still trying to get the hang of this technique.

    Kim...really neat art journal "redo". Love the kraft on grey color palette. Love the compass framelits on top of the blue print stamped image. Nice burlap texturing from Tim's stencil, too! Thanks for joining us at CC3C. <3 Candy
