CC3C #4

I had a lot of fun working with the stencil layering technique using  texture paste featured  in Tim Holtz's A  Compendium of Curiosities Volume # 3, page 49.  I will admit that I found the technique challenging, and the finished product looks very different from its earliest version.  I have been reading on various blogs that there are no mistakes...only happy accidents.  I experienced many happy accidents :).  I used the technique to make my husband's Father's Day card.  This challenge is generously sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique . I am also entering this card in the Country View Challenge "Only Men Allowed".

  2. I like the way your tag sets off to the side and enhances the focal point. Thanks for sharing this lovely Father's Day card at CC3C!

  3. Blue and brown is one of my favourite combinations and I love the shimmery textures of the harlequin tag. You've just got time to come and play at Country View Challenges with this, where it's Only Men Allowed this month.
